Home Information Pack (HIP) or Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
As a legal firm you may be concerned that the introduction of HIPs may affect your business.
Certain large pack providers, who are associated with conveyancing factories, have approached your local estate agents and asked them to sign up for their HIP work.
It is vital for any Solicitor to stay one step ahead of this competition. Many legal firms are choosing to compile the HIP themselves. You determine who undertakes the searches and conducts the EPC survey.
We, at Bluetint Energy Solutions, understand the Solicitors role and relationship with their clients in the home sales market and we are not aiming to infringe those relationships.
You can either act as an ‘introducer’ of our services, and we will work directly with the client to agree payment and arrangements for the EPC, or you can take the instruction yourself, agreeing and taking payment, and we will carry out the work and provide you with the HIP, white labelled if you prefer.
